Our 2 year old daughter has flown with simple ear protection since she was 9 months old. We felt it was time to take the next step and get her a full blown aviation headset, so she could communicate with mom & dad and watch her cartoons on a tablet.

We went with the pink headset (PA-1151ACG). When it arrived she immediately let us place it on her head, she shows no signs of discomfort and she wears it during flight with no fuss. My wife said that it was actually quite comfortable on her head as well.

We did a lot of shopping and comparing. Overall, this make and model won because of the price, positive customer reviews and the offer to upgrade the headband as our daughter gets bigger.

We fly a Cirrus SR22/G2 and on our first family trip there was some trouble getting the audio adjusted in our daughter's headset . The internal volume, not the radios, was much too loud. The volume knobs on the headset seemed to make no difference. I reached out, via email, to Pilot Communications USA and quickly received a response from Abram. He answered my questions and confirmed some of my questions regarding the specs of the headset. Less than 24 hours later, and without a request to do so, Abram called me to clarify some of the original questions I had posed. During our conversation we came to realization that there must be passenger volume control somewhere on the communications panel.

Ultimately, it was "Pilot Error" I missed the micro-print on the Garmin 340 that notes pulling the co-pilot's volume knob out controls the passenger's volume.

Through all of my customer service interactions with Abram, there were offers to take the headset back for bench testing, adjustments or anything else that might help us tech out the problem.

I am very satisfied with the quality and value of the product, but I am extremely satisfied with the customer service that Abram provided. We will make our future purchases with Pilot Communications USA.

I own 2 of these headsets for my daughters and they absolutely love them. The aux in is perfect for digital entertainment on long flights while their hearing is protected from the aircraft noise. Even on long trips, my daughters wear these headsets without any complaints.

Customer Service is also outstanding. One headset had an issue with the mic cable. I spoke to a representative: probably the most professional, helpful and responsive I have experienced in a very long time. He recommended I send the headset in for a bench test to determine the issue.

The headset was promptly repaired under warranty. However, the rep went above and beyond by replacing the speaker foam filters and installing a medium sized headband - at no extra charge.

This experience has won me over. Next time I need a headset for myself, or make a recommendation to a fellow GA enthusiast - Pilot Communications USA will be the way I go.
