It works with devices that use a 3.5mm stereo external mic input such as the GoPro HERO2, Drift HD, or most other handheld Video Camera or personal audio recorder. Can be used with a handheld digital audio recorder to create your own CVR (Cockpit Voice Recorder). Great for CFI's and Students to review radio communication skills after the flight!
To be used with Panel Power headsets utilizing the 6 Pin Lemo/Redel connector such as the Bose X, Bose A20, or Lightspeed Zulu Panel Power version.

My main reason for purchasing this adapter is so I could review the audio after flights while training. I am using this with a Bose A20 headset. I was able to good audio with the 3.5mm cable going direct to my GoPro Hero 2. Let me explain my ratings now...
Price: This is expensive (no doubt about it) but since it's a pretty "specialty" item it's definitely understandable...
Value: I usually determine value by weighing the price and quality against each other... In this case it's value is okay... The benefit of being able to review your flights also bumps the value significantly for me...
Quality: This is built well and I really have no major concerns for how long this product will hold up for... BUT for the price I was expecting better quality in the materials used...
Customer Service: After placing the order we got a call the next day to confirm that this was indeed the adapter we actually needed... (as this is a product that not a whole lot of people will need)
Overall I'm a satisfied customer that will return if there is a need for anything else that they stock
