PILOT INTRODUCES FIRST ANR WITH BUILT-IN CELL PHONE JACK
Pilot chose Oshkosh AirVentureŽ 2001 to introduce their newest enhancement to their Liberty PA 17-71 ANR headset. A cell phone jack has been added to the non mic boom side ear cup allowing a pilot to use their cell phone while wearing an aviation headset. The newly introduced model, the PA 17-71T, is the first ANR headset to be equipped with this cell phone enhancement.

The FCC allows cell phone use within the cockpit while an aircraft is on the ground. By offering this product, Pilot is in no way promoting the use of cell phones in the air. Should the user do so, they are in violation of FCC rules and do so at their own risk. The FAA has not taken a clear position on cell phone use either on the ground or in the air.

The PA 17-71T is available through local pilot shops, avionics shops and FBOs. Contact your nearest dealer for availability.
