PILOT has developed an OEM program where a company, school or organization can purchase communications equipment with their own company name and logo printed on the ear cup. This is a very effective means of marketing and promoting your firm. Initial lead time is 3 to 4 weeks. All artwork is subject to approval by our graphic department. Normally the headpad contains the company's name, city and telephone number and the ear cup usually looks best with the company's logo or the organization's name. The following colors are currently available: Red, Olympic Blue, Slate, Orange, Yellow, White, Beige, Gray, Black, Jade, Pink, Maroon and Navy. We are continually adding new colors to our program. We will also try to match a specific color to meet your requirements. Ten styles of ear cups are available with smooth or textured surfaces and can be fitted with various microphones and plugs for different applications. The artwork which we require for the OEM program is as follows: • Minimum type size is 8 point Headsets can be customized to meet your exact requirements with regards to color, type of microphone (Mil-Spec available), headpad style, ear seal type, speaker impedance, length of comm-cord, and type of connector. A longer mic boom, the volume control on the bottom of the ear cup instead of on the top. A PTT on the ear cup, or maybe it would be better on the comm-cord. Everyone has done this. Why? Because we all have good ideas of how something would be better if it fitted you better or worked in a way that enhanced your particular job application. Well here’s your chance. Granted, it is not probably feasible that you design and we build only 1 headset. But if you are in a particular job application, where there is a possibility that you might be able to order 12 or 24 headsets, then it might be worth talking to us and getting a quote from our firm. We manufacture many different styles of headsets and have many ODM and OEM customers. Some we build our own style headset but in their company’s colors. Other’s we only build the headset they have specified and we don’t sell to anybody else. Print the accompanying “download” and see what innovative design you can come up with.
